2 Sketches 4 You Card ~ July 31

Here is my 2 Sketches 4 you card for this week. This one was fun. I used some Daisy Bucket paper and some bling. The stamp is from Whipper Snapper.

Also, don't forget to enter the draw for a ribbon RAK. You can find it just below or clicking here. You have until tonight at 12amEST. All you have to do is take a guess at what stamps will be featured in the next SheetLoad of cards issue. And there is a sneak peak in the post. I'll be back tomorrow morning with the winner.

A SheetLoad sneak peak & a RAK

Good afternoon, hope everyone is enjoying their summer today. I have a sneak peek of the August SheetLoad of Cards. The wonderful Michelle has come up with a great sketch for this month. Here is a little sneak of one of the cards I made.

If you leave a comment with your guess as to what manufacturer that stamp is I'll put your name for a draw for a ribbon RAK. Leave your comments by 12EST on July 31st and I'll draw on Friday morning.

Well just finished making some blueberry jam and now for some more dreaded errands. Have a great day everyone.

Some cards

Hi all,

A couple of weeks ago 2 Sketches 4 you had a DT call and I applied. I didn't get it but I wanted to share the cards I did with the 2 sketches. I had fun with them. Love their sketches.

I've been at my scrap desk here and there all weekend. Working on some stuff from the Scrapshotz crop and for my August DT projects at Savvy'nSassy. This month we are lucky to be sponsored by Magistical Memories. They have some awesome chipboard, can't wait to show you what I've been up to.

Well that's it for today. I'm off to create.

Some cards

Well good morning. I've got a few cards to show you. I'm participating in a crop at Scrapshotz and because I'm the Guest Card designer for July I got to put up 3 challenges. So here is what I've done.

The first one I did was a View master card. It's really cute. I first saw it over at Splitcoast Stampers. I tweaked it a bit to match what I had on hand and my instructions can be found here at Scrapshotz. It was a little time consuming but a lot of fun.

And for my second challenge (which is here), I did a jungle them. So I used animals and Maya road chipboard. Hard to tell the chipboard trunk is painted and then covered with Ranger Crackle accents and the "tree" part is painted with Tim Holtz Distress Paint. I also used my Cuttlebug on this too.

And this was my last challenge (shh, isn't quite up yet *wink*). It's the Wedding Singer. The challenge was to use a love song on a card. I used my wedding song and pasted it inside too. It's going to be for my awesome husband. We're celebrating 10 years together in about a month. So I killed 2 birds with one stone!

I also did a few cards so far and I thought I'd share those too.

This one was to use at least 10 eyelets on a card or layout.

And this final one is the Scrapshotz gives back challenge. For every one who creates a card or a layout with music in it Scrapshotz is giving $5 to the Children's Wish Foundation. I just love this idea. Here is my card.

Long post this morning! Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend.

July 21 ~ 2 Sketches Card

Hi all,

Here is my card for this weeks 2 Sketches 4 you challenge. Love this sketch. I used October Afternoon paper and some My Favorite Things stamps and of course some Savvy'n'Sassy ribbon.

I have a busy weekend ahead. Scrapshotz is having an online crop starting tomorrow evening. As part of my Guest DT duties for the month of July I will be running 3 challenges. I'll post them here too as they go up on Scrapshotz. I hope you all can come and stop by.

Have a great day everyone and I'll be back tomorrow with some more cards and some layouts.

A shout out to SheetLoad

Hi all be sure to stop by SheetLoad. They got a couple of great blog candy items going on. First all you have to do is give them a "shout out" and say why you love them (that's pretty easy!). The second is easy too all you have to do is make a card with either of the July issues and post to win. Remember, if you use the Mini issue be sure to post it here too, for a chance at a RAK from me. Two chances to win!

Savvy'n'Sassy DT layouts

TGIF!!! I'm so happy it's Friday, this week has dragged on. I'm looking forward to the weekend.

I've been working on my DT stuff for Savvy n Sassy. Oh boy were there yummy ribbons this month. I got to work with the Vintage Garden ribbon. These are the first 2 LO's I did. I did a couple more which I'll get to taking pictures of and some cards.

Sorry about the bad pictures, I'm still trying to figure out how to photograph layouts. Cards I seem ok with, but these seem so big!

Have a great day everyone.

Busy creating...

Hi all, I have been doing lots of cards today. Mostly for my July Guest DT stint at Scrapshotz. But I did take some time to do the weekly sketch at 2 Sketches 4 you. I had fun with this one. I actually cut out the middle square and used transparency so you could see the image stamped on the inside. And I got to use some of those yummy Prima flowers that I've been saving for something.

Ok off to make dinner and then go to the gym.

Have a happy Tuesday.
